How has PTE Academic improved to become shorter and better?

Since November 2021, the PTE Academic and PTE Academic Online test duration has been reduced to around 2 hours (previously 3 hours). The new timing is:

• Speaking & Writing: 54–67 minutes
• Reading: 29–30 minutes
• Listening: 30–43 minutes

The optional 10-minute break has been removed for a faster, more efficient test.
